Titanium stub end (lap-joint stub end) is a butt-weld pipe fitting manufactured per ASTM B363 & ASME B16.9. One end is flared for sealing face, the other is beveled for butt-welding to titanium pipe. It is used together with lap-joint backing flanges, allowing free rotation for easy field alignment, installation and disassembly. Featuring outstanding corrosion resistance against seawater, chloride and acidic media, it is widely applied in chemical, desalination, offshore and marine piping systems. Available in short / long pattern, grades Gr1, Gr2, Gr7, Gr12, Gr5, with sizes NPS 1/2"-48" and various schedule thicknesses; custom dimensions are acceptable.
