Titanium Exhibition

From May 7 to 9, 2026, the 13th China International Titanium Industry Exhibition (TIEXPO 2026) was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As a professional enterprise deeply engaged in titanium material export, Deko Corporation participated in the exhibition and concurrent forums as an industry player, engaging in in-depth learning of cutting-edge technologies and global market trends, and discussing new directions for high-quality development of the titanium industry with peers across the industrial chain.

Under the theme “New Cooperation, New Market, New Opportunities,” the exhibition brought together more than 300 upstream and downstream titanium industry enterprises, showcasing innovative applications of titanium and titanium alloys in aerospace, chemical anti-corrosion, marine engineering, high-end equipment manufacturing, and other fields. The concurrently held 2026 China International Titanium Industry Development and Product Application Forum and the Dual-Use Metal Materials Development Conference featured discussions on key topics such as continuous titanium production, critical materials for aerospace, and lightweight applications, providing an authoritative platform for technical exchange and trend sharing.

During the exhibition, the Deko Corporation team attended industry forums and technical exchange sessions, systematically learning about the latest achievements in precision machining of titanium, corrosion resistance optimization, and international standards adaptation. The team engaged in in-depth discussions with industry experts and upstream/downstream enterprises on topics including product upgrading, customized solution optimization, and changing global market demands. Through this exhibition, Deko Corporation further deepened its understanding of global titanium market requirements and gained valuable experience for subsequent product portfolio optimization, service capability enhancement, and international cooperation expansion.

As a professional manufacturer specializing in titanium export, Deko Corporation maintains a continuous focus on industry frontiers and learning, committed to driving product upgrades through technological innovation and connecting global customers with quality service. Looking ahead, the company will continue to follow technological trends in the titanium industry, translating the knowledge gained from this exhibition into motivation for product and service improvements, providing customers worldwide with titanium solutions that better meet industry needs and enhance competitiveness, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the titanium industry.

Focus on Process Frontiers: Systematic Learning of Core Technical Know-How

The concurrent forums included in-depth discussions on continuous titanium production, aerospace critical materials, lightweight structural design, precision forming, and surface functionalization. The Deko Corporation team studied diligently, with particular attention to the following technical directions:

Continuous Titanium Production: The team learned that the industry is advancing the “consumable remelting + continuous rolling” process route, which significantly improves yield while ensuring structural uniformity. This provides important insights for material selection, process understanding, and cost control.

Precision Machining Technology: The team studied the special requirements of titanium alloy’s “low thermal conductivity and high springback” characteristics on tool parameters (such as rake angle and edge treatment of carbide-coated tools) and cutting fluid selection. It was recognized that when providing custom machined parts to customers, a more thorough assessment of machining feasibility is needed.

Corrosion Resistance Optimization Technology: Beyond conventional pickling and passivation, the application of anodizing, micro-arc oxidation (MAO), and PVD coatings to enhance the corrosion potential of titanium in marine environments is gradually maturing. For commonly used grades such as TA2 (Gr.2) and TC4 (Gr.5), these processes can significantly extend the service life of seawater pipelines and heat exchangers, providing technical references for expanding into marine engineering customers.

Aerospace Critical Materials: Case studies were conducted on the application of beta titanium alloys (e.g., TB6), Ti-6Al-4V ELI, and Ti-3Al-2.5V in landing gear, fuselage structural components, and other scenarios. It was clarified that impurity element control and microstructural uniformity are key challenges for import substitution. Although the company is not yet engaged in large-scale export of aerospace-grade materials, this learning direction clarifies mid-to-long-term product upgrade pathways.

Follow-up Action Plan

Through this exhibition, Deko Corporation further deepened its understanding of global titanium market demands. Based on the learning and exchanges during the exhibition, the company has identified the following subsequent directions:

-Apply the continuous production quality control points and precision machining parameter optimization insights gained from the exhibition to internal process documentation, gradually improving custom machining capabilities.

-Initiate feasibility studies on product portfolio optimization in response to customer demand for corrosion-resistant titanium alloys (Gr.12, Ti-0.2Pd) and medium-to-high strength structural titanium alloys (Gr.9, TC4 ELI).

-Benchmark against international standards such as ASTM, AMS, and ISO, improve testing procedures and full traceability records for export products, and strengthen third-party certification capabilities (e.g., SGS, BV).

Deko Corporation stated that it will continue to follow technological trends in the titanium industry, translating exhibition learning outcomes into driving forces for product and service optimization, and providing global customers with titanium solutions that better meet industry needs.
